    Amazing how these bird nest on the cliff sides. Perfect head angle and exposure on the whites. To me the flowers make the image more interesting adding complimentary color. Thank you for sharing, Jon.

    Very nice. A perfect pose for the portrait crop and I like the flora bg. Whites and detail look great.

    Beautiful subject in a beautiful setting. Personally I would have preferred more separation between the flowers and the kittiwake's face, but I suspect moving to your right would have resulted in an unpleasant situation for you. Good calling going vertical.

    Hi Jon, I like the setting here, and you managed a great pose from the Kittiwake. Good sharp detail on him, and I would come in on the LHS a touch. just a personal thing with verticals. Make no mistake, your vertical comp was the right decision.
