Hello folks this boy was running away from another bigger beach master ....after poking him several times in his eyes ...
The big boy got sick it .....and chased him . I specially love that fearful look in his eyes and his almost flying pose .
He ran past me about 2 m ......just ignoring me .

    HH

F 7,1 ; Iso 25600 ; 1/ 1600 sec ; i wished for more SS but was already on the limit in terms of Iso at that time, today i might push the iso a fraction further .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous thread

It took me a second to work out what was going on but, yeah, it is quite a shot.

Hi Andreas - personally I like the bit of motion blur here. It helps to tell the story. I never noticed their eyes going in different directions before this. Looks good for the high ISO.

Looks a bit 'beached' to me Andreas.

A fun image, but I think you need to dust down that printer and start to print these out to really see, as it's fine pushing the ISO, however I doubt it would get past some of the 'stock' photo IQ checks . I feel the black blood in the BKG LHS is a tad distracting.

The image has impact it certainly takes the viewer's eye to the seal's eye, you did well to get the shot. As always excellent detail.

Thanks Mike ,Rachel , Steve and Jon for your kind comments , as always much appreciated .

Steve .... i bet you would say about that darker blob ...., and yes it should go before being published or printed .

What means `beached` in context , from time to time i have my language limitations when you go offtrack ......, the same with " stock photo IQ checks " ?
Can you explain it a little more simple for the " grey sokkie " german ....would appreciate that .

    Cheers Andreas

Hi Andreas, this is a cool image indeed. Love the eyes and the action you got at the nice SS and high ISO. Well done. TFS.

That is a fantastic image, loved the timing of yours and the expression is priceless. I just loved the image just that black blob in the bkg is a minor issue otherwise a fantastic frame . TFS !
