Hi Frank, excellent low perspective here. Lovely show off pose from the parent, and well timed to capture a calling youngster, and with a perfect HA. Overall nice and sharp, and the feather detail pops. I do like the darker BG too.

You have a real winner here, Frank. I feel as though I can reach out and touch these birds they look so real. Great job on the details and love the birds against that dark BG.

Really nice Frank. Love the detail and colors. DOF looks great for f/5.0. Love the calling chick and the dark green BG. The calm water with the little ripples is nice too. TFS

Frank this is a beautiful image I like the strong colours and the bird looks very well delineated against the dark water. The chick couldn't be much better with it's head popping out.

A lovely shot Frank. The low angle a dark background set the pair off beautifully and the chick calling just finishes it off.

Frank, this is something really special you have here. The colors are so rich, it's perfectly sharp, DoF is exactly where it should be and there's a ton of life here. If I had to add anything as far as critique goes - perhaps a little more room behind them?

    Love this one.
I like the DOF, the great pose of the chick and the raised ruffled feathers of the adult.
    HA are perfect.
    Great BG.
I would like a sliver more room on the LHS if you have it.

Fantastic and intimate shot. The exposure, deep colors and details are all great. The baby with the open mouth is just too cute and really takes this image to another level. Other than maybe a touch more space on the left I think this one is perfect.

    Frank:

Lovely image on all counts. Outstanding shooting angle, lighting and of course the poses.

    Cheers
