    Question Bird ID Help

    Attached Images Attached Images

Need a little help in id'ing this bird (maybe we should have a forum for
us dummies who can't id birds. I know I'd be a regular contributor :) ).

This was down in Texas in case it helps.

    Thanks
    Doug

I think it's a juvenile Oriole. The question is which oriole. Unfortunately there are multiple choices in Texas, so it's just the reverse: it doesn't help. it makes it worse. I'd guess Bullock's Oriole based on the 'black' on the crown and behind the eye.

ps - Nice image - sharp, nice composition, like the implied action.

Hi Doug, I vote for female Bullock's Oriole. Dan Brown

Great looking bird. I second the motion for a forum for us dummies that don't know our birds.
