    This is from last week an Elegant Tern courtship flight, sometimes they each have a fish and sometimes neither.

    You know I really like these courtship shots! Nice to see the pair separated as he offers her a fish with a good angle and in good light. Well done

    Very nice.
    I like that both birds are nicely in focus and the different coloring of the beaks.
    Is the male the one with the fish and red bill?

    That is good timing, Tim. The birds are nicely in focus and the wing positions complement each other.

    I like the positions and the fish, I get the impression the birds are just a little blue.

    Hi Tim, not easy catching these fast flyers, and I like the different wing positions. The fish in the beak takes this up a few notches.

    Blue sky and blue reflections flying over the water, these colors are as seen, thanks for your input though.

    Thanks Gail, I don't know if the beak color designates male or female, some pairs have it and some don't.
