    This very bright guy was sitting in one of the nearby oaks. As usual the lighting wasn't great and he didn't want to move. I think these are striking birds.

    Hi Sid at least your finding them !!!!

    Light was from your right so its a little off light angle. The leaf right by the head/beak is distracting, sometimes you can move a little left or right and keep it form merging. Remember that objects closer to the subject will be in relatively sharp focus.

    I like the pose and perch, good eye contact and placement in frame !!! Great techs !!!

    Hi Sid - nice bird, like the pose, colours are great.

    Leaf near the head is distracting, but sometimes you have to take what you can get. Well done
