    Default CHEETAH !

Hello everyone , Thank you for your comments and suggestions to my previous post .

Here is an image of Cheetah inspired from all the Cheetah images posted by Sanjeev recently. I liked the way it was standing on an elevated piece of land with its tongue sticking out .

All your C&C's are most welcome.

DPP 4.5 , CS6 , WB , selective colour, levels, curves, colour balance , cropped slightly from the top and added a canvas at the foot very slightly, sharpening.

Haseeb I like the way your Cheetah is half hiding behind the tree which in itself is interesting and the sticky out tongue is priceless ,I'm really enjoying viewing this lovely piece of work.

Hi Haseeb, this is a very nice capture and one of your best IMHO.

Good call on the framing, although perhaps a tad off the RHS and more to the left, icing is the tongue. Very much like the stance, almost eyeing up the next meal and the thought of it. This has a lot of good factors for me and the techs look spot on. However, I'm not loving the colour, albeit on the laptop the yellows & orange look a bit pushed and the greens look flat with little depth of detail coming through which you can achieve with some selective adjustments within PS. Rather than do a RP I'll drop you a line.

Overall if you get the tweaks better then you should pour yourself a beer and congratulate yourself.

    TFS
    Steve

Hi Haseeb - Lots to like here including the vertical comp, the stance, the tongue out. I agree with Steve about the colors. I know you added canvas below but I would still like a little more. Watch the repeating patterns though when adding canvas, noticeable at the left tip of the grass mound.

    TFS,
    Rachel

A fine image Haseeb. Love the composition & that tongue ! Agree about the yellows and tightness at the bottom . Thanks for chipping it with a cheetah image.

Like the tongue and how it is standing behind the stump/tree?

First impression a fine shot of the cheetah. The image looks too yellow and a little lacking in contrast. Composition is good to my eye but I would have liked some separation between the cheetah and the stump. I appreciate you get what you are given.

Thank you everyone , your comments are much appreciated . I lost my way in the colour department while processing the image but with your suggestions I will definitely try and improve on this image.

    Dear Haseeb,

Wonderful image, super techs and good IQ, nice clean BG. I love your cheetah peeking from behind the tree trunk with that "I-am-so-hungry" expression on its face, well seen and captured! The presence of the tree trunk and its positioning within the frame adds another dimension to the frame overall. I would like just a tad more at the bottom, if you have? Colour-wise I do agree with Steve, a little too orange (especially on the face), easy fix for you. Should you decide to review this image I would like to see the results, it is really awesome and I just love the mood and feel, there's a certain degree of sophistication in it, a little magic... let's call it the X factor?

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hey Haseeb this a lovely cheetah image ...
I do like the frame for the same reasons as the others ........so no need to repeat !!!!
I would have liked to see tad more canvas at the foot of the image , and i do agree on the colors as per Steve , just needs a bit of tempering , as i do not want to see them as Steve .

    Well done , Haseeb
