    Default Glossy Ibis #2

Here's another Glossy Ibis from Ocean City Rookery. This was my favorite of the series, because of the light, colors and background. But purists would want a bit of a head turn (and so would I). In this one, I felt the RAW file was sharper than my previous post.

    D500, Sigma 150-600 @ 500mm; ISO 1000, 1/2500s @ f/6.3.

Nice one Bill. Agree with the head turn but what can you do. I like the colors, light looks nice, and BG is sweet. I've shot at the rookery a bit lately and haven't had much luck with these guys. Catchlight is cool too. TFS

Pretty nice overall Bill. I agree about the head angle, but the overall image works nonetheless. If mine I'd likely either crop up to above, or clone in, the pale area in extreme lower left corner.

Quite stunning but for the bird turning away from us, and the too-centered composition.

Another lovely Ibis in the morning, Bill. Excellent crisp detail and nice pastels in the BG.

Nice sharp image, good exposure. I like the trees and sky background. Agree a little more head turn towards the viewer would be perfect. Thank you for sharing.
