    Default Mother Preening A Juvenile... Florida Burrowing Owls

    I captured this image on Marco Island, Florida. I know the eyes do not show but I like the tenderness and caring the mother is showing. Really neat to just sit down and watch the interaction between the family. I always have a couple of days planned to spend with these owls. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    I like it too despite the lack of open eyes. Tender moment, looks like a loving whisper. Depending what was out of the frame at left I feel pointing your lens a bit more there for a central comp would have worked well here due to the face-to-face head angles.
