    A bit of experiment with the composition. I wanted it to look more interesting than just a bird and a perch. Wonder what you think about it.

    I like this a lot Tomasz. The vegetation surrounding the perch forms a nice diagonal. Exposure is perfect, bg has a nice variation of muted colors and I don't think an image can be any sharper. The only thing I would critique is where the tail meets the bg vegetation, I'd prefer the entire bird be separated from the bg, but it's not a big deal.

    Beautiful image with a well-balanced comp. Great setting, with a terrific background. From your description I take it that you placed the dry vegetation there as a setup?

    Yes it was a setup and it looks exactly as intended. The bird landed where i wanted it to land.
