    Default Whitetail Buck in velvet

    This is a different buck than i posted the other day. The lighting was much better as well. The background isn't ideal here with the dark line through the deers head. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Hand held, full frame.

    John I feel the colours are too saturated I get the impression the histogram is really crammed at both sides, I would be inclined to go back to the raw, set it to default, check the colour temperature to see what looks most natural and then gradually consider changing the lights darks and contrast if required.

    Hi John - It stands out nicely from the bg but again I feel a bit too saturated and tight at the bottom. Techs look good.

    Hi John, the comments I made on the previous posting still apply's here too. Although at the foot of this image, there appears to have been some manipulation to extend the image, as there is some repeat patterns in the FG grass.

    Hi John a nice buck in superb direct sunlight ....looking like being a overall warm mood .
    I am ok with the BG ...it is just the overall saturation that is not ideal from my POV and i might drop the EXP a fraction .
