When the wind comes up our opportunities for banking flight shots increases dramatically. This one came by in the right position nearly full frame without a Tc. Thanks always for your comments. Nikon D5 600mm, 1/2500sec, F 4.0 at ISO 1000. Hand held

You slayed this shot. Wow!!! Doesn't get better than that. Details and pose and the head angle are just perfect. A dream shot for me. Congrats.

Pretty cool. I love the scaling patterns of the plumage, and the flared tail adds some interest.

Wicked and wickedly sharp. I would not mind this at 3X@ with more room in front. The image quality is superb. with love, artie

An excellently timed shot, Glenn - the banking and the slight turn on the head add up to a wonderful capture.

No nits at all from me on this one, superb image. This would definitely be stating a case for some wall space if it were mine

This is awesome Glenn! Love the perfect pose and HA. The flared tail adds to the image too and I really like the markings on this guy as they really show off the feather pattern well.
The details are fantastic but It looks a little dark on my monitor. I did a re-post to see what you thought?
