This image was taken at Bempton cliffs, it was the only one I kept after a 3hr visit, the birds kept low and the light was harsh.
A nice job on capturing the detail in the bright whites here Jon and the arrow-like posture is really striking, although for some reason I find the disproportionate size of the two wings somewhat unsettling ( but not so much as to keep it off my 5* list ).
There is lots that I like about this image: the sharp angles, and the crazy BKGR colors. And the sharpness and the great look at the near-wing. I think that you can get a bit more detail out of the WHITEs and the far wing really pisses me off :) **** bird!
