Love the alert walking pose, high-key look and composition. I might have been tempted to slightly burn the top of the head and the bill, to get a bit of separation from the high-key background. And maybe a 1 px black border? The grasses are beautiful.

John, interesting high key shot, I would loose some of the negative space on top and selectively darken the blow out areas of the bill and head.

Love the high key look, the grasses, the walking pose, and the perfect head angle.

Nice walking pose, and yes, a perfect head angle. Nice to have grasses in the water to add interest. It's unfortunate that the top of the bill gets lost in the BG though.
