Beautiful bird, sharp, with a perfect exposure. And great job of finding an opening to the subject. But with half the bird cut off by the frame edge the image design is problematic at best. I am not sure if there was a good composition available ...

It was a very tough scenario. There was very limited options for composition....the tree trunk and foliage blocked all the rest of the bird, and to the right was some yellow foliage which detracted from the bird itself.
Understood and as I assumed Lance. Been there done that :) But no matter how difficult the situation we still gotta judge the image :)
