    Hi all,

Here's an oystercatcher in flight from Sandy Hook, NJ taken this AM pretty soon after sunrise. Shot was slightly overexposed so dropped the exposure a tad and then tried to tame the highlights. Added some canvas to the top and left and then cropped ~25%. NR and sharpening in PS. Cloned out a fence post and some rope. Light is as I remember it as it was a really 'rich' sunrise if you will.

    Camera: Nikon D500
    Lens: 200-500mm f/5.6 at 500mm
    Specs: 1/2500 ISO 1000 f/5.6

Thanks for looking and commenting on prior posts!

lovely pose and light, good wing position too, the image looks a bit soft and washed out on my screen. would bump up the contrast and apply more (fine) sharpening

Thanks for commenting Arash -- really appreciate it. I added some more contrast and sharpening here (hopefully enough). Thanks!
