Another from Sandy Hook a few days ago. Not a songbird, so I didn't apply the Theme prefix; but these guys sure do make a racket when flying.

Hi Bill, nice down wing position, open bill and calling pose. The head shows nicely against the lighter color of the far wing. Thank you for sharing.

They really do make a racket! I like the beak open and calling pose. To me, the whites look a bit on the grey side. Detail in the blacks looks nice and I lke the BG. TFS

Nice and sharp on the eye! I love that the full head and face a clear of the wing, pretty cool. A bit of a busy BG, but the OC stands out nicely from it (Gaussian blur?)

love the wing position with the open beak and calling pose in flight! I think the other one you posted was sharper but this one has a better angle. The light was a bit harsh but like Daniel for me the main issue is the busy BG which he was unfortunately flying too close to. TFS

Thank you all. Yes, the prior post was less of a crop, so it had sharper detail. And yes, in this one the bird is too close to the BG. I did run a slight Gaussian blur on the OP. Here, for Arash, I asked the OC to fly further from the BG, since I know how much you love Gaussian blurs.
