Copper smith barbet feeding the baby. As we can now see the head of the baby, it will be fledging soon.

Please note what looks like artefacts on the wings is natural and not due to over sharpening.

A superbly timed behavioural shot, Jay. You really are pulling out some good shots.
I can't help feeling the head of the adult is a tad out of the depth of field.

Thanks Mike. My attitude towards shooting and sharing these images is best described by "best is yet to be!". Interesting or challenging part here is, action happens quickly, both birds are in different planes and baby makes quick and unpredictable head turns. Also, location of the tree is such that from most angles you will get white sky as background. So you have to make trade-offs. But I am still hoping to capture at least one frame that is without "ifs and buts" -- best is yet to come.
