    Like the vertical composition here, nice background as well. Is the nearest front wing ripped at the top?

    Hi John and thanks for the comment. Yes the front wing looks slightly ripped - they tend to get frayed a while after emergence. This is a mature adult male - they look more amber like the females when they first come out.
