    Action is so superb Tim, I think the large crop has impacted the IQ though. would have loved to witness this action

    Amazing action here. Maybe it is worth it to loosen the crop a bit so that you are not compromising your image quality too much. Is the RAW tack sharp? If so then I think a looser but tack sharp crop would be better. I would love to witness this behavior.

    Great action shot. I have watched Bald Eagles catch fish in the air dropped by the Osprey they are chasing. The Eagle flips over to catch in the air. Do the Peregrines do the same?

    Yes John, they do. Unfortunately the light (June Gloom) has not been cooperating and I haven't gone back to try my luck at getting more shots.
    Hopefully it will clear in the mornings before it's to late.

    The action and individual poses are awesome and the open beak of the top bird really adds to the drama of this image.
    Not bad IQ for the crop and conditions but now you just need a close one to finish off the season!!
