    Steve:

A safe image perhaps, but it is very well done, shows off the bill details , soft light and creamy background.

    Where was this taken Steve?

    Cheers

WOW Randy, that was quick .

    Where was this taken Steve?
Farne islands where I think young Artie is heading too next month. Fortunately I can pick & choose when to go, as we were originally going on the Monday, but due to rough seas bumped to the Tuesday. It's a nice and easy location, but is now becoming extremely busy, much prefer the Shetland Isles because of the remoteness.

    Thanks Steve:

I have watched the Shetland TV series, and it does appear to be an amazing place. I think the weather might get to me after a while however.

    Cheers

Yep as special place for sure and like Alaska, four seasons in one day. You do have to be prepared for all weathers however. Where I've been it is about a hours yomp, but views are breath taking and if you like shooting with wide angle lens then this is the place to go, as they run around your legs & feet.

love the pose and the details as well. I do find those 3 dark stalks behind the bird distracting and it looks like the whites right where they meet the blacks don't have much detail.

    Hello Steve,

Stunning colours, this is well exposed and detail is superb. Subject well placed within the frame and that soft BG makes him stand out so nicely. I actually like that bit of vegetation behind the Puffin.

Great techs as usual and wonderful PP work, I am a bit jealous of this one

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
