    The name actually has nothing to do with colour, but the English description was the rhino with the wide mouth, which they have, it has gradually changed, via the Afrikaans "wit renoster" which was derived from wide, to even the English name = white rhino. Late afternoon, Sabi Plains

    I am happy that I looked at this image and learnt the reason for the nomenclature. I like the directional lighting. It improves the form. I would have loved some more light falling on the head. Overall, nice image.
