    Holy cow Tim this is wicked!! Love the pose and the killer detail and intensity in the face, and yes, just the right amount of wing blur to create nice action to the image. I would call this your best one of the season!! That take off perch has been good to all of us this year

    Thanks Dave, that perch is a new one about 50 yards south of the normal hotspot and much closer to my happiness.
    I haven't seen them use it since, hopefully it will happen more, I would love to get a chance with the female.

    Great take-off shot, with good focus on the head, and nice wing position. And I like the touch of red vegetation on the cliff.

    Excellent dynamic pose and details Tim, love the colors and light too. in a perfect world the wing wouldn't intersect with the cliff but I'd take this one any day

    About as perfect a take off pose you could ask for. I love that the talon is showing back there.
