    Hi John, nice and simple portrait and I like the blowing sand masking the FG. I feel there is a bit more detail you can extract rom the white chest plumage, but what appears to be a lot of yellow 'masking' some colours, but that could just be down to the late sun???

    What an all around terrific laughing gull portrait. It's quite artistic with the blurred FG & BG and the light was stunning.
