    Hi All,

This Image was taken today at Bear River Migratory Refuge, Auto Toor Loop.

This was taken using my car as blind using BLUB.

Sun Angle was less than Ideal, but I could not resist the opportunity to photograph Western Grebe with Chicks.

I will be doing a little bit more planning next time to photograph on a cloudy days..

    Let me know your comments.

Wish you could see more of the grebe's head. And a catch light in the chicks eye would be nice. But like you said sun angle was less then ideal.

Your own assessment of this image is spot on. Lovely capture but for the light. Unfortunately, nature doesn't always happen in the early morning or late afternoons when the light is best.
