    I had some fun following a group of these hawking insects at the edge of a forest. Here's one of them that stayed put in an appealing batch of leaves for a few moments for me.

    Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/400s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, full-frame, lighten the iris, a few bright specks in the leaves removed.

    Nice Image. It has the feeling of a Painting.
    Green leaves adds to the image.

    Daniel, the soft feathers of this bird and complementary BG gives this image a painterly feel to it. Nice.

    Love how the leaves frame the bird here. Eye and pose are very nice. I can never get these guys to stay put long enough. TFS
