Finally made my way to a popular Egret breeding spot near my home. Glad I found it as this was a fun shoot.

Certainly a lot going on here to catch the eye!

I love the action in this frame, the mum has a good expression, and the chicks, particularly the top 3, are all well displayed. The BG elements are what they are - perfect world scenario would have the BG cleaner, but this is where they live, so fine by me on this occasion.

If I had that kind of location near to me, I'd consider myself pretty lucky - and pretty busy trying to make the most of it!
