This is one from Mull, on a rainy misty day. Being out, doing what we do, in bad weather, is difficult, but I think, worth it.

I really like the rain drops. Good incoming position.
    Great BG.
I see a bit of a purple cast in the image- easy fix,

This is a species that I really want to see. I like the nice eye level perspective you have here. Seeing the eye is nice but a little more eye contact would be even better. I see what Gail is saying about the purple but not sure if that is just a distant mountain and from the rain. I wish there was a bit more of a dynamic pose but would be very happy with this. I could also see a version with a little more contrast added to make the bird stand out more from the background.

Hi Will, love the snow falling here and the atmosphere of this shot. Definitely a difficult shot but well worth it and must've been really rewarding to be freezing and see this shot on the LCD. I'm not usually the biggest fan of this wing position but it works here. I agree with Isaac about a bit more contrast. I'm also wondering if a 16:9 crop would work well here as I feel theres a bit too much space below. Thanks for sharing

Ilike this one. It is a kind of unexpected but welcome composition with a lovely bg and incoming flight pose. The rain gives it a moody feel.
