    This image was taken in Rock Mountain National Park in a Parking lot.

    When I parked the car to watch the scenic view, I notice couple of cooperating Mapies in the a parking lots.

    Quickly grabbed my camera and made this image.

    Nikon D500, 300mm f/4 + 1.4x TCII
    ISO 640, f/5.6, 1/1000 sec

    Post Processing:-


    Photoshop
    Dodge and Burn on the Rock - Luminosity Mask
    Level - Luminosity Mask

    Noise Reduction and Nik 30-30 Filters

    Very nice. Man you did great up there. Very interesting pose. I like the rock and the perfect background. Blacks look great with lots of details. Well done.

    Very nice color and detail. for some reason it is showing up on my computer cropped off on the right hand side, right through your sig. could just be mine though.

    Fantastic looking image !! One of your best frames, if not your best.
    Exposure, colors , perch, pose and BG are all beautiful.
    I've been trying to get a good shot of one these birds for years.

    Hi Krishna, I like the look back pose, nice colors and a BG. In this case shooting a slightly higher angle would have been better as it would reveal the feet and the tail
