For years I've wanted to add this species to my warbler portfolio, but my few sightings of them have always been at a distance, in the treetops. Several weeks ago we went on a mission to find one that had been reported along a 20 mile stretch of back road near the Delaware Water Gap - eBird gave no specifics. One 4-1/2" bird somewhere along 20 miles of forested road? Piece of cake. I pulled off at what seemed a good spot and played his call. He responded immediately. It took awhile for him to give us some good looks, but here he is.
