This is another from my recent trip to the Isle of Mull. My wife and I were having a stroll along one of the many beautiful beaches, when I captured this one.
Sharp. The harsh, slightly off angled light brought the contrast way, way up. Some of the WHITEs and REDs look toasted and some of the BLACKS look very black ... Getting flat down on the ground after moving left and going to a darker exposure might have helped. With 1/2500 at f/8 as a general guide at ISO 400 for WHITEs in bright sun 1/2500 at f/7.1 is surely too much light ... with love, artie
