    I love how you you have captured it iridescence of the plumage, and you have managed to not lose the eye in the dark plumage around it.

    Very nice image which shows the feather detail at its best. I like the BG which shows the bird well. A vertical crop may work here. Nice one John.

    Hey Arthur the background is a field of dried up marsh grass, around 50-75 yards away.
