    I captured this image last year at Fort DeSoto Park, Florida, with the Nikon D750 Handheld and AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm 1-5.6E ED VR

    Juan, nice HA, prey, BG and detail, I would do a bit more recovery on the fish and a bit less room above the birds head.

    I like the fish, sharp. i wish heron's head was parallel to the back of the camera and we could see fish's head as well. TFS

    Nice lighting, pose and sharpness, cool background, nice detail on the fish body, seeing the face expression on the caught fish would have really put it over, but i still like it as is.

    Don't these prey fish know to get caught with their face TOWARDS the viewer? Neat overall, I like the vertical comp, details, sunlit side of neck and face. Not crazy about the blue water along the bottom, but I can live with it.

    Very nice image.
    Agree with Daniel re: blue at bottom of frame but otherwise I think the sharpness, crop and IQ are excellent.
