    Song sparrow on an overcast day. Should have took a couple steps to the right to avoid the tail getting cut off. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Hand held, full frame.

    I like the hunched pose, and the dry perch, although sporting a few too many extra parts, is still pretty neat. Perfect head angle. I'd be tempted to crop some off the top (and right and a bit left to retain the ratio) as there is lots of empty space up there.

    The brown thistles are a fine setting for this little guy's colouration John. The turn of head seems to convey a slightly startled "what's that over there?" look.
