    I came across this colorful little guy at the edge of a pond on some reeds darting, posing and darting away again.

    There are some slight compression rings due to the compressed jpg.

    Lovely little hummer, Tim. Interesting perch, cannot help but wish the bird was more parallel so the tail was showing. Wonderful colors and detail. Thank you for sharing.

    Very nice frame Tim. I like how you have cropped the image with the lovely looking perch starting from the bottom LH corner. Beautiful colours on the bird with a nice pose and HA. The dark BG shows it well.

    I really like the perch on this one, and the beautiful colored plumage brings my eyes right back to the bird.

    Agree that the diagonal composition is great as is the perch. Agree with Joseph that seeing the tail would be great but this is very very nice as is. Nice BG as well. TFS, really enjoy your hummingbird shots

    A very nicely composed image, Tim with the angle of the perch. And the bird's head has turned enough to bring it into the light.

    Nice, love the diagonal line the perch makes, good pose on the bird and background is nice as well.
