    From earlier this month at Magee Marsh. A lifer for me. C&C welcome.

    D4S, Nikon 80-400mm @ 400mm, 1/800s, f 7.1, ff -3.0, ISO 1250, HH.

    Very nice, good background, good perch and a nice pose on the bird.

    Nice pose perch and BG. I think that the image has a bit of a yellow cast. Details and exposure look nice. Congrats on the lifer and TFS!

    Thanks Alex. What you are seeing, regarding the light / yellowish cast, is the sun defused through a dense canopy of yellow and green leaves. The birds would fly beneath the lower tree branches where there seemed to be more insects to dine on.

    Very nice looking frame Geoffrey. I like the pose the bird gave you and also the BG colours which show the bird well. Congrats on your lifer, and TFS as I have never seen this bird before.
