    I love Cormorants Juan - this may be my favorite shot of one yet. So much feather detail, color is super accurate and you definitely caught the life of the bird here. Something about the composition/ crop seems a little "weird" to me. It's probably because this is not the way I'd go about this shot though. Great job.

    Great detail, pose, eye, and I love the feathers in the beak. The hint of waves in the BG is very cool. The vertical composition works well for me here. TFS
