This is from a few weeks ago, a Peregrine Falcon after she leaps off her rocky perch diving down the face of the cliff.

    Thanks for looking.

Great in flight pose especially with the spread tail feathers. Details look nice and the perch / rocks and BG are sweet. Composition wise I wonder if a bit more on top and the LHS and a bit less on bottom and RHS could help. Like the hint of light in the eye too. Can't wait to try my hand photographing these falcons. Thanks Alex, you always want to have more room in the direction the bird is moving and not a centered subject, at least that is my preference.

Great looking take off pose Tim! Love the topside view and the nice feather details. Cool HA and open beak too. I like the inclusion of the cliffside and the greenery and I prefer the comp as is. Well done

Really nice take off pose here. I agree that the bit of cliff showing adds to the shot. Love the view of the top of the bird. Not sure if it is just my eyes but the bird looks like it could use a tiny bit more sharpening or perhaps has slight motion blur? 1/1600 seems a bit slow for these rockets.

Thanks Isaac, I added a bit more sharpening. It looked fine to me but… I gave it a whirl
