Superb lionscape Marc, or shall I say Moonscape?
This frame is loaded with mood and emotion, and I love the subject looking back... what perfect scene
If I were to change anything here it would be the composition, ever so slightly, I am tempted to take off a bit from the top and stop somewhere above that lovely Moon - what say you?
Mesmerised with the scene and I must say it instantly reminded me of Anette Mossbacher's lonely bear, same feeling of isolation and it does lead to reflection, truly a wonderful scene Marc - congratulations!!!
Happy with the simplicity of the B/W but just curious what it looks like in colour, deep blue skies and all, not sure there might be a tinge of purple or it is just my imagination?
Very moving, indeed a memorable sighting, well seen and captured - Congratulations
Kind regards,

Marc I am not usually a fan of B/W but this could certainly change my attitude ,perhaps not the best at portraying my thoughts but this is a wonderful image in my eyes and the B/W a sure winner.

Hi Marc - I am going to be contrary here and say I prefer the color version. I think the top of the b&w frame is too dark and heavy though with the suggested crop that area is removed and IMHO, it works better. Nicely seen and captured.

Hi Marc ....thumbs up for the B&W version .
Like the overall comp and the tonal range ...i think more impact in the B&W , the color version does look kind of " another lion image " .
The crop in your RP might work as well .

Love the B&W version, I like the crop as is absolutely spell binding - a great shot - love it! For me the B&W provides a certain magnificence - a sense of spectacle.

Hi Marc -- after a lot of thinking , i think i am also inclined more towards the BW version, as it has that dramatic feel to it , but certainly the crop as suggested will enhance it more . Wonderfully done yet again !
TFS !

Late to the party but had to get a comment in about this one Marc.
A good eye to see the shot, and it suits a B&W conversion perfectly.
the way the lions face is lit up is great, and there are all the extra details available in the sky for an added bonus. I think it would be even stronger if a little was lost off the top and added below but still beauty as it is.

Hi Marc,
the B&W version looks quite nice. Cropwise I like the full version and pano, both work. Am not a fan of the color version at all. Looks a tad dull to me.
Looks very nice to me.
Have a great week
