    Tripod, MLU, remote control, a little luck too in waiting for the breeze to halt.
    Canon 5D Mk II Canon 180mm macro & 1.4TC III
    ISO 400 + 0.3, 1/80 sec, f11
    All C&C welcome.
    This is the first of the newly emerged damsels I have seen by my garden pond. It looks at though it had a tough time emerging from the exuvia judging by it's terminal body segments. I am not too sure what the bubbly stuff is on the tip of the tail.

    Good technique and a very nice result! I like the diagonal comp, soft light, excellent sharpness, and the clean background. They don't all make it out of the exuvia in perfect condition - looks like maybe the wings are a bit deformed also.
