    Cracking detail Jon, if it's take where I think then I might plan next year .

    Would pop a Luminosity layer on the moss at the foot, killer colour palette. Have you tried a 10 x 8 with a hint more to the right and less above?

    Very nice! I love the eye, head angle, pose, long tail, perfect background color, and cool mossy perch.

    Killer detail, pose, look back, and very nice look at the eye. The BG is superb and I really like this perch. Gorgeous feathers on this guy. The repost nails it for me. TFS

    Love everything about this one. Details, light, the perch and that background are excellent. I prefer the 10 x 8.

    Thanks very much everyone for your comments. Whilst I am pleased with the quality I have to confess I did not get any great satisfaction, I just turned up to a hide and someone else had done all the preparatory work in ensuring it arrived. The shots I really wanted were in flight which I got pin sharp but I managed to clip the tail in one and the wing in another.
