    I hope everyone is well!

    It's been quiet here in Landscapes...and I am guilty as well. Totally swamped between work, family and my MBA studies.
    This is a photo from our visit to Dead Vlei in Sossusvlei (Namibia) last year.

    I like the repetition of the foreground throughout the image and there is indeed a characteristic to these trees. I've never been there so this might not even be possible... but here it is... I am wishing the trees were lit like the sand dunes in the BG. I feel like it could bring the scene to life.

    Adhika - there is a MASSIVE dune behind my position here, to the east, thus at sunrise you won't have them let until the light is quite harsh...

    Beautiful work as usual Morkel....I quite like the close-up perspective you chose for the foreground trees. I see one tiny dust bunny hiding in the upper left corner inside the triangle of blue sky.
