    1DXII 400mm F/2.8L II & 2XIII 800mm 1/2500 f8 iso800 hand held
    In CCPS removed a small distracting stick. BG is the wall of a water hole that the birds were drinking from, this one coming in for landing. I never tire of watching these beautiful birds and their agile flight and antics.

    It's been nearly 20 years since I was in Australia but I still have fond memories of large flocks of these around Joondalup WA - pity I wasn't into wildlife photography back then.

    This is a lovely capture which shows off the pastel colours beautifully with a nice clean BG,
