Portrait of a snowy egret. The light is pretty harsh here, this image was made at 4:30. I know most people only photograph the first couple hours of light or the last. Cloudy days would seem to be the only exception. But i just couldn't help myself. Image adjustments in Lightroom. Hand held, full frame.

This would have been ideal had you had the chance to get in closer for a tighter portrait. I feel there is too much body showing here in this composition. I love the painterly BG, and you did OK with the harsh light. Well focussed too.
