Little owl secures his mouse

After a nearly a full day of rain the skies cleared with just a hour or so of daylight remaining ,both i and the Owl made use of the dry spell.

Nice to get the owl and the mouse together, nice background, the rusted metal on the perch in distracting but it is what it is.

I'm surprised I like the perch as much as I do! I only wish the front foot was not obscured. Pretty neat with the wet prey.

love the owl and the prey, the ,light and the BG, I do wish for a better perch or at least wished it had not interested with the owl as much and also for a bit more DOF. BG could use some NR
