This is just crazy nice. The bird, background, those grasses are all excellent. The only thing that I could possibly suggest is that maybe I would clone out the grass on the right that is going out of the screen. Somehow I think it would be more symmetrical if there was some green at the end. But as presented this is beautiful and that is just a maybe...

Great fence post here that matches the bird's beautiful plumage. Lots of good detail to look at. If mine I'd likely smooth out the subtle background line just in front of the bill, just for a cleaner finish around there. Excellent otherwise!

Thanks for the tips. I agree about smoothing the gradient in front of the birds head. I was thinking about the grass also but i decided to keep it (the right part of it of course). I am glad that the bird landed in the way that no grass is in front or in the back of the bird which was a bit of luck. But luck is important part of bird photography :).

Funny thing about this bird is that normally it's almost impossible to spot it because the way he looks. He is like a chameleon, but he has very recognizable sound.

Tomasz this is excellent and personally I would not change a thing,to get an image as good as this for this species is exceptional.

What a beautiful specie and the repose takes it a nudge up. love everything, there is some hand of man in the perch but in this case it works well.
