    This frame is from British Columbia, back in winter. The short-eared owl owls blend so well with the environment sometimes they are right in front of you and you don't realize.

    I have yet to see an owl Arash - this camouflaged one is a lot of fun. I often wonder how many owls I've passed...

    I love this because this is where short ears make a living. They are so hard to spot while hiding in the grass. Love the direct stare.

    Nice camo shot! I love how the tiny ear tufts are up, usually I cannot see them on most SEO images.

    Yeah, Arash has some of the nicest owl shots I've ever seen. (Love your Great Grays)... So, on that note - spill the beans - where should I go in BC to have a go? :)
