    Hi all ,
i keep coming with a Seal image ....... this time with two big boys before the epic fight began .
I already posted frames of that fight ....in the past .
This was a very heavy and relatively long lasting one ...as far as i can say from my experience . What surprised me a lot was the fact that i actually did not get the meaning of that fight ... as they fought in an area on the Dune where no females were around .But who knows what was going on in their minds .
I wish both heads would have been in focus ....but they stayed too far apart at the time of capture .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 500 IS L
    Tripod

    F 8 ; Iso 25600 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DP 4.6 and PS CC 2017 ; cropped for comp to 75 % of FF

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous thread

    Cheers Andreas

I should be getting used to that ISO but wow 25600, that is a very clean image Andreas. I agree ideally both heads would be in focus but c'est la vie. I really like the way you have captured the texture of the fur of the one on the right along with the fine sand.

Hi Andreas - Again nice low pov and I agree with your self-critique about wishing both heads in focus. Not as nice a bg as some of your other seal images but the open mouths add interest.

    Hello Andreas,

This works for me so well, despite the OOF chap on the LHS. I think you liked it too, otherwise you would not have shared it The seals are nicely positioned in the frame and yes the emphasis is on the RHS character, but the HA is great on both and the dispute comes through nicely, love the way they "eye" each other as if afraid of a nasty bite. Very low noise at relatively high ISO and nicely processed as usual Boetie, I like it very much

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Rachel - sadly no choice of the BG , but i agree that i have plenty other better looking BG īs in other seal images .

    Cheers Andreas
