    Love the lichen on the perch and the background is nice as well, pose looks good on the bird.

    Very nice indeed Tom, I am a little undecided about the sharpening, I feel you have caught some great detail there. I am wondering if there is a blue or magenta cast in the wing primaries and tail feathers.

    Honestly i haven't applied more sharpening then usually. I usually use 120-140 USM with 0.3. But i have decreased the resolution from my flickr 1600px to 1200px and i might added too much sharpening at that point.
    And there is a cast of blue, magenta etc. I have removed the saturation on those colors at -30 in ACR. Maybe should have removed a bit more because i think it's still little bit visible.
