One from East Beach at Ft Desoto. whilst waiting for the Ospreys to return I had a little fun with the Sanderlings running in and out of the waves. A little more head turn would have been nice, but hopefully its not done too much harm

Interesting pose on the bird kind of looks like he is going to fall forward, pretty neat.

I like the pose as well and those little water drops coming off the beak. Details look good but your bird is under exposed a little and has a yellow cast to it. Also the shot needs some clockwise rotation. I find the plant hitting the birds head a little distracting. I addressed all those issues with he re-post. Quickly selected the bird and in hue/saturation I lowered the yellows a little. In selective color I increased the whites in the white. Then used the NIK remove color cast filter at 75% and removed the rest of the yellow. Applied NR to background and rotated. Then I cloned out the plant/mud in background. Of course it is hard doing this stuff with the small jpeg posted and always better to work on the original. Looks like my whites are probably a little too white but just giving some ideas. Removing the plant on the right is personal preference.

    Cheers Isaac, food for thought.

This was taken very early morning in very warm light, hence the tones on the bird. I toyed with a little rotation, but in reality he was running up the banking rather than along a flat beach. Maybe somewhere in between the 2 shots.

The shot is cleaner without the grass, but I think removing it is just taking things a bit too far,

thanks for the feedback and taking the time for the RP suggestions
